Gaining flexibility and specifically getting closer to your toes can help improve any aches/pains in your low back and hips. So if you struggle with pains in the low back then maybe it could be due to tightness in the body.

Hi, I’m Leah, founder of Lakora Yoga. I am a fully qualified Yoga teacher, mama of a little one and love to help others see results in their yoga practice.
If you feel naturally inflexible, like you are never going to be able to touch your toes then snap! That was me about 10 years ago. I have never been naturally flexible so I found a way that worked best for me and my body to gain results and in a short amount of time because being a full time mum doesn’t leave you with much time for anything else.
Once I started working on my flexibility I noticed a huge difference in my body. My aches and pains from the joys of motherhood started easing.
Since then I have been teaching others how they can gain flexibility whilst in a stiffer / tighter body because there are so many different ways that are left out of your typical yoga class that are key to helping you gain flexibility and help reduce the aches and pains of life.
Gaining flexibility also helps with things like:
- better mental health
- better circulation
- more energy
- better mobility
- and so much more
So let’s get practicing for our bodies and our minds!
About this challenge…
This 5 day challenge is all about helping you gain flexibility and getting you closer to touching your toes. No one wants to feel like their getting older, stiffer, unhealthy, right? We want to feel alive, free, mobile and able to actually do the things we love.
I have ran this challenge a few times now and have seen such incredible results. I know what I teach works and I can’t wait to share it with you.
We will be training on Facebook Live (replays available afterwards) for around 30 minutes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11.30am. This gives you a couple of days in-between to catch up if you fall behind. I know how busy life can get (I have a 5 year old and 7 pets to look after).
These trainings will be going over different things like
- The different muscles needed to be worked in the forward fold
- My favourite poses to maximise flexibility
- Flexibility secrets
- and much more
